Stephen Collett Fine Art Prints is a fine art printing company founded by Independent, International Artist Stephen Collett.

After working in the world of Art and photography for some years, he discovered that there were very few printing firms in Merseyside that were equipped and indeed willing to produce prints of artists work allowing them to market their own reproductions independently. Artists and photograpers alike were left with a choice of going to the larger printers who specialised mainly in corporate contracts and wouldn’t have the individual attention to detail that an artist needs for their giclee prints, or selling prints through a print agent website, for which they would only get a small percentage of the sale.

This led to Collett researching the prospect of starting a print company geared directly at artists and photograpers who wanted to make more money achieving a 300%+ mark up on their prints.

A company that would provide high quality prints for resale on a variety of different media, the production of which would be overseen by a fellow artist who understood about the attention to details such as colour deviation and texture quality. The services offered by Stephen Collett Fine Art prints are both of a reasonable price and would have a more personal touch.

Stephen Collett Fine art prints endeavours to have the very latest printers on the market for an optimal service to the client. Currently we are working with the HP Design jet Z3100 44” Printer which is of exceptional quality and is maintained by HP using only HP inks and print heads.

To ensure the highest possible quality we use only inks and materials direct from HP. Below are the materials we use for the services mentioned.

HP Coated paper 90g/m2
This paper’s special surface coating is deigned to ensure accurate colour reproduction and emidite drying. We use this paper for our poster print service.

HP Aquarella Art Paper 240g/m2
This exceedingly high quality paper is used for gallery quality art prints and is what we use for our giclee on paper service.

HP Collector Satin Canvas 400g/m2
This canvas when used in conjunction with our HP Design jet Z3100 boasts museum quality colours and sharp details on a natural white canvas. It is quick drying and leaves long lasting quality colour prints. We use this canvas at 44”,36” and 24” rolls for all of our Giclee on Canvas services.

HP Pigment Ink Gloss Photo paper 235g/m2
This high quality paper ensures a high colour density and long lasting pigment intensity. We use this paper for our photographic print service.

HP Colour Lucent Back lit UV 205g/m2
This uniquely quick drying back lit film is ideal for light box illumination.  This product is available for clients who request it.
